Being not only a musician but first and foremost a music fan, I've always been drawn to all things behind the scenes. In addition, loving when I would come across B-sides on import albums, demos, or rare songs captured live. I miss the days of trading tapes via snail mail, hoping to bring that spirit back in some fashion. This has been something I've wanted to do for quite some time and Bandcamp is the perfect platform.

The pandemic was something most of us never saw coming, nor foresee the impact it would have on the creative community as a whole. Seemingly overnight countless lives were completely turned upside down. Performances canceled, careers put on indefinite hold, with part-time day jobs now turning into a full-time necessity.

Nearing the halfway point of 2021, almost 15 months after the shutdown, things are picking back up again and starting to look promising. In today's market of mass oversaturation, with recorded music being severely devalued by Tech giants, direct access and exclusivity have never been so vital. Documenting each and every step to share with you, and with a new EP just released, a monumental journey lies ahead.

This is your invitation into my world...welcome BACKSTAGE.

From mid to late 2000's TDF toured the country, hundreds of shows with countless national acts. In 2010 tensions ran high and brothers Ken and Will Newsome decided an unofficial break was needed for the band...In 2019 Ken tragically passed away. In 2020-21 Will hit the studio recording his most personal work yet with producer Brett Hestla, and reforming the band in his late brother's honor.
